In 2006, I wanted to start an experiment attempting to answer the question, “Why we hangout with people we hangout with?” Using GPS data in conjunction with an interactive map, I’m hoping to illustrate when people’s path have crossed or nearly crossed.  Of course, that was pre-smartphone era. There were no abundant of GPS built-in devices to keep track of people. With limited budget, I have got to find another way.
